Summary
This study looks at 350 people having lung surgery for cancer. During surgery, one lung is deflated. At the end, doctors re-inflate it using one of two methods: manual bagging or a machine that controls pressure and volume. The goal is to see which method leads to fewer lung problems like pneumonia or collapsed lung tissue in the first week after surgery.
