Which lung re-inflation method is safer after surgery?

Summary

This study looks at two different methods doctors use to re-inflate a lung after it has been collapsed during surgery. About 350 people having lung surgery will take part. The goal is to see which method leads to fewer lung problems like pneumonia or collapsed air sacs in the week after surgery.
