First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study tested whether a robotic bronchoscopy system, guided by real-time 3D CT scans, can more accurately biopsy lung nodules. 200 adults with suspicious lung nodules took part. The goal was to see how often the biopsy tool reached the exact nodule location before sampling, which could improve diagnosis of lung cancer.
