Robotic duo aims for pinpoint accuracy in lung cancer detection
NCT ID NCT05562895
Summary
This study tested a new, combined robotic system designed to improve the accuracy of lung nodule biopsies. It involved 155 adults with small lung nodules (2 cm or smaller) to see how well the system could guide a needle directly into the nodule for a tissue sample. The main goal was to measure the system's success rate in getting a clear, usable sample to help diagnose or rule out lung cancer.
