Study tests which lung biopsy is safer and more accurate
NCT ID NCT04250194
Summary
This study aimed to find the best way to get a tissue sample from a suspicious lung nodule. It compared two common procedures: a CT-guided needle biopsy through the chest wall and a guided camera biopsy through the airway. Researchers measured which method was more accurate at getting a clear diagnosis and which had fewer complications like lung collapse.
