First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study explores whether a special type of MRI can help doctors see and track lung damage in people with interstitial lung disease (ILD). Researchers will compare MRI images to standard CT scans and follow patients over time to see if the MRI can detect if the disease is getting better, worse, or staying the same. About 200 adults with certain types of ILD will take part. The goal is to improve diagnosis and monitoring without using radiation.
