New scan aims to see inside scarred lungs
NCT ID NCT07300696
Summary
This study is testing if a special type of MRI scan can better see and track different forms of Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD), a group of conditions that cause lung scarring. Researchers will compare the MRI results to standard CT scans to see if it can more clearly show disease types and changes over time. The goal is to improve how doctors monitor these diseases, not to test a new treatment.
