Doctors create database to study new Lung-Scanning tool in critical care
NCT ID NCT07184580
Summary
This study is creating a registry to track how a special, non-invasive lung imaging device is used in the intensive care unit (ICU). The device, called Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT), helps doctors see how air moves in a patient's lungs in real-time. The registry will collect information on about 1,000 ICU patients over five years to understand how this tool is used in practice and to support future research.
