Scientists scan lungs to map future Heart-Lung drug
NCT ID NCT07362290
Summary
This study aims to gather basic information to help design future research for a serious lung condition called pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Researchers are using PET scans to see how much of an experimental compound, XBD173, reaches and binds to a specific protein in the lungs of 16 healthy volunteers. They will test different doses and see if taking the compound with food affects its levels in the blood.
