New scan aims to spot hidden heart damage in lung disease patients
NCT ID NCT06537934
Summary
This study is testing a new type of CT scan that can look at both the lungs and heart at the same time in people with interstitial lung disease (ILD). The goal is to find early signs of heart problems, which are common and serious in ILD but often missed until it's too late. Researchers hope this single scan will help doctors better understand each patient's risks and guide their treatment sooner.
