Scientists search lung fluid for clues to stop cancer spread

NCT ID NCT06815666

Summary

This study aims to find markers in lung fluid that can predict how soft-tissue sarcoma spreads to the lungs. Researchers will collect fluid and tissue samples from about 70 adults with sarcoma who are already scheduled for lung surgery as part of their standard care. The goal is to see if these markers can help doctors better understand and monitor the disease's progression.
