Summary
This study aimed to understand if changes in a standard lung function test (FVC) over one year of treatment with the drug nintedanib are related to changes in patients' reported cough and shortness of breath. It observed 158 adults with progressive, scarring lung diseases (excluding IPF) who were starting nintedanib as part of their regular care. The goal was to gather knowledge about how test results connect to the symptoms patients actually feel.
