Tiny camera could make lung disease diagnosis safer and clearer
NCT ID NCT02961335
Summary
This study tested a tiny camera that doctors can insert into the lungs during a routine breathing tube exam. The camera takes microscopic pictures of lung tissue to help doctors identify different types of diffuse lung diseases more clearly. The goal is to improve diagnosis accuracy and potentially reduce the need for more invasive surgical lung biopsies.
