NCT ID NCT07284056

Summary

This study is testing whether a special breathing device called the MetaNeb System can prevent and treat lung collapse in patients recovering from esophageal cancer surgery. Researchers will compare the device to standard care in 178 adults admitted to the ICU after surgery. They will measure lung function and recovery to see if the device helps patients breathe better and avoid complications.
