New Two-Drug attack on advanced lung cancer enters testing

Summary

This study is testing whether adding a new drug called valemetostat to a standard immunotherapy (pembrolizumab) works better than the standard drug alone for people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer. It is for adults who have not had prior treatment for their advanced cancer and whose tumors have high levels of a specific marker called PD-L1. The trial will first find a safe dose and then see if the combination helps control the cancer for longer.
