New lung cancer trial pits radiation against chemotherapy before surgery

Summary
This study is testing which combination works better to shrink tumors before surgery for certain stages of non-small cell lung cancer. Before their operation, participants will receive either immunotherapy plus chemotherapy or immunotherapy plus targeted radiation. The goal is to see which approach leads to more patients having no detectable cancer cells left after surgery.
