New attack on lung cancer: blast tumors while boosting immunity

Summary
This study is testing if adding targeted radiation or surgery to standard immunotherapy helps patients with lung cancer that has spread to only a few other body sites. It will compare the standard treatment alone to the standard treatment plus these local procedures. The main goal is to see if the combined approach helps people live longer and controls the cancer better.
