Freezing tumors to boost immune attack on lung cancer

NCT ID NCT06127303

Summary

This study is testing if combining an immunotherapy drug (toripalimab) with a freezing procedure (cryoablation) can help control advanced non-small cell lung cancer that has started to grow again after initial immunotherapy. The goal is to see if freezing a few progressing tumors can boost the body's immune system to fight the cancer more effectively. The study will enroll 54 patients to measure how long the treatment keeps the cancer from getting worse and monitor side effects.
