Aggressive triple attack on spreading lung cancer shows promise
NCT ID NCT03965468
Summary
This trial is testing whether a powerful combination of immunotherapy, chemotherapy, and targeted radiation can better control advanced lung cancer that has spread to only a few other body sites. It involves 96 adults with untreated stage IV non-small cell lung cancer. The goal is to shrink tumors, delay the cancer's progression, and potentially allow for surgery or more radiation to the main lung tumor.
