Can your medical records replace a clinical trial? scientists put it to the test
NCT ID NCT07485179
Summary
This study is not testing a new treatment. Instead, researchers are analyzing existing electronic health records from about 770 patients with advanced lung cancer. They want to see if data from real-world medical practice can reliably reproduce the results of a previous major drug trial. The goal is to understand when and how real-world data can be confidently used to answer medical questions without running new clinical trials.
