Can your medical records replace a clinical trial?

NCT ID NCT07485166

Summary

This study is not testing a new treatment. Instead, researchers are using existing electronic health records from over 800 lung cancer patients to see if they can accurately recreate the results of two past clinical trials. The goal is to understand when and how real-world patient data can be trusted to answer important medical questions, which could help speed up future research.
