Blood test could personalize lung cancer treatment, spare some from chemo

NCT ID NCT05715229

Summary

This study is testing if a simple blood test can help doctors better treat advanced non-small cell lung cancer. The test looks for tiny bits of tumor DNA in the blood. Researchers want to see if this test can tell which patients will do well with immunotherapy alone and which might need chemotherapy added to their treatment plan. About 108 adults with newly diagnosed, advanced lung cancer will participate.
