New hope for lung cancer patients when standard drugs stop working

NCT ID NCT07181499

Summary

This study is testing a two-step treatment for advanced non-small cell lung cancer in patients whose previous targeted therapy has stopped working. First, patients receive a short course of chemotherapy, then switch to a different targeted drug called befotertinib. The goal is to see if this approach can better control the cancer and extend the time before it worsens, while monitoring side effects.
