Timing is everything: study tests new order for lung cancer drugs

NCT ID NCT04163432

Summary

This study is testing if changing the order of two standard treatments—chemotherapy and immunotherapy—can improve results for people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer that has spread. It will compare two schedules: one where chemo is given a week before the immunotherapy, and another where the order is reversed. The goal is to see if this staggered timing helps control the cancer better and is safe for patients.
