First seen Jan 29, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tests whether a traditional Chinese herbal medicine, modified Bufei decoction, can reduce common symptoms like cough, fatigue, and shortness of breath in elderly patients (65+) who have had lung cancer surgery. About 174 participants will receive either the herbal granules or a placebo twice daily for 28 days. The goal is to see if the herb improves symptom scores and quality of life compared to placebo.
