New program aims to ease the burden of lung cancer surgery for families
NCT ID NCT03686007
Summary
This study tested a multimedia support program designed to help patients with early to mid-stage lung cancer and their family caregivers prepare for surgery. The program included videos, a handbook, and nurse coaching before and after the operation. Researchers wanted to see if this extra support could reduce stress, improve quality of life, and help patients recover better after leaving the hospital.
