New 3D map guides surgeons in precision lung cancer removal
NCT ID NCT06952894
Summary
This study tested a new computer system called RUS Lung that creates a 3D map from a patient's CT scan to help guide surgeons during minimally invasive lung cancer surgery. It involved 34 patients and aimed to see if the system was practical to use and if it helped surgeons accurately locate and remove tumors. The results were compared to past surgeries done without this navigation tool.
