AI predicts deadly blood clots after lung cancer surgery

Summary

This study aims to understand what factors increase the risk of dangerous blood clots after lung cancer surgery. Researchers will follow 900 patients for 30 days after their operation, collecting health data to identify warning signs. They will use computer models (machine learning) to try to predict which individual patients are most at risk.
