Summary
This trial tests whether a mobile van with a CT scanner can help more people get screened for lung cancer, especially those who are socially disadvantaged. Over 4,300 heavy smokers aged 50-74 will be randomly assigned to either the mobile unit or a hospital. The goal is to see if the mobile approach reaches more vulnerable populations and improves early detection.
