New program aims to boost Life-Saving lung cancer checks in native communities

NCT ID NCT07176000

Summary

This study is testing a support program to help more people in tribal communities in Washington state get screened for lung cancer. Researchers want to see if a tailored patient navigation service, which guides people through the healthcare system, helps more eligible individuals complete a recommended low-dose chest CT scan. The study will compare this navigation support to receiving standard educational materials and a referral to a doctor.
