AI and scans join forces in glasgow to hunt hidden health threats

NCT ID NCT07372508

Summary

This study aims to test a new, more comprehensive health check for people at higher risk of lung cancer. It will offer 500 eligible adults in Glasgow a single clinic visit that includes a low-dose CT lung scan, a blood test, a heart trace, and a breathing test. The goal is to see if this combined approach can effectively find lung cancer, heart disease, and other lung conditions much earlier than usual, and to test how well AI can help doctors analyze the scan results.
