First seen Feb 18, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tests whether an artificial intelligence (AI) tool called Sybil can better predict lung cancer risk and help expand screening to more people. Researchers will enroll 2,500 adults aged 50-80 who are already getting lung scans. The goal is to see if AI and broader guidelines can catch lung cancer earlier in those who might otherwise be missed.
