Blood tests may predict when lung cancer returns after surgery

NCT ID NCT07170046

Summary

This study aims to see if tracking two specific markers in the blood (CEA and ctDNA) can help predict when lung cancer might return after surgery. Researchers will follow 100 patients who have had surgery for lung cancer and monitor their blood levels over two years. The goal is to better understand recurrence patterns so doctors can personalize follow-up care and potentially adjust treatments sooner.
