Targeted radiation 'Vaccine' revives failed immunotherapy in desperate lung cancer patients

NCT ID NCT07423169

Summary

This study is testing a new combination treatment for patients with advanced, inoperable lung cancer who have no other options left. It combines a very precise, high-dose radiation shot to only part of the tumor with a drug that helps the immune system fight cancer. The goal is to see if this 'rechallenge' can restart the immune system's attack and control the cancer for longer than the drug did alone.
