Shorter radiation treatment shows promise for lung cancer patients
NCT ID NCT01803542
Summary
This study is testing a shorter, more focused form of radiation therapy for people with lung tumors. It aims to see how well this treatment controls cancer growth and what side effects occur. Participants will receive high-dose radiation over 1-2 weeks instead of the usual several weeks. The goal is to refine this technique for better cancer control with fewer treatments.
