New Two-Punch attack on lung cancer: zap then cut

NCT ID NCT03348748

Summary

This small, early-stage study is testing the safety of a two-step treatment for early-stage non-small cell lung cancer. First, patients receive a single, highly focused dose of radiation to their tumor. Then, about a month later, they have surgery to remove it. The goal is to see if this combination is safe and works better than standard treatments.
