Targeted radiation boost aims to extend lung cancer control

NCT ID NCT06627738

Summary

This study is testing whether adding a precise, high-dose radiation treatment (called CyberKnife) after standard chemotherapy and radiation helps people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer live longer without their cancer getting worse. It will involve 42 patients who have already completed the initial treatment. Researchers will track if the extra treatment improves survival and quality of life over two years.
