New drug combo aims to keep advanced lung cancer at bay

Summary

This study is testing whether adding a pill called olaparib to an existing immunotherapy drug (durvalumab) works better than the immunotherapy alone to keep advanced lung cancer from getting worse. It involves patients whose cancer has not progressed after initial chemotherapy. The goal is to see if the combination helps control the cancer for longer and is safe for patients.
