Blood tests track lung cancer drug effectiveness

NCT ID NCT04223596

Summary

This study is testing how well the drug brigatinib works for people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer that has a specific genetic change (ALK+). Researchers will also explore if simple blood tests (liquid biopsies) can help track how the cancer responds to treatment over time. The study involves 33 patients who will take brigatinib daily until their cancer worsens or side effects become too severe.
