Scarred lungs may change cancer treatment success
NCT ID NCT07396467
Summary
This study aims to understand how having lung scarring (pulmonary fibrosis) affects the results and safety of immunotherapy in people with lung cancer. Researchers will look back at the medical records of 200 patients to compare survival and side effects between those with and without lung scarring. They will also analyze old tumor samples to see if the scarring changes the tumor's environment in a way that influences treatment.
