New Immune-Boosting drugs tested in fight against advanced lung cancer

NCT ID NCT03233139

Summary

This early-stage study is testing the safety and how the body processes two immunotherapy drugs, cemiplimab and fianlimab, in Japanese patients with advanced lung cancer. The goal is to see if these drugs, alone or combined with chemotherapy, can help the patient's own immune system shrink tumors. The study is specifically enrolling 146 Japanese patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer who have not received prior treatment for their metastatic disease.
