Targeted attack on mutant lung cancer shows promise

Summary
This study is testing whether a combination of two targeted drugs, encorafenib and binimetinib, can help control advanced non-small cell lung cancer that has a specific genetic change called BRAF V600E. It is for adults whose cancer has spread and who have either had no prior treatment or only one prior treatment. The main goal is to see how many patients' tumors shrink significantly in response to the drug combination.
