Could a simple blood test spot lung cancer sooner?
NCT ID NCT04968548
Summary
This study is testing a new blood test called Lung EpiCheck to see if it can accurately detect early-stage lung cancer. It involves 5,000 current or former heavy smokers who are either getting a routine CT scan for screening or have a suspected or confirmed lung cancer diagnosis. Researchers will compare the blood test results to CT scans and diagnoses to see how well it works.
