Could a simple change in biopsy technique lead to better lung cancer treatment?

NCT ID NCT05560776

Summary

This study aims to find the best way to collect tissue samples during a lung cancer biopsy to ensure there is enough material for advanced genetic testing. It will compare taking two needle passes versus three passes from suspicious lymph nodes. The study will also test if a simple blood draw (liquid biopsy) can provide additional genetic information that the tissue sample might miss.
