Can a blood test or tumor model predict immunotherapy success?

NCT ID NCT06405230

First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study looks at new methods to predict whether immunotherapy drugs (dostarlimab and pembrolizumab) will work in people whose non-small cell lung cancer has returned. Researchers will use blood samples, lab-grown tumor models, and special PET scans to see if these tools can forecast treatment response. About 40 participants with advanced or metastatic disease will be enrolled. The goal is to improve how doctors choose treatments, not to test a new cure.
