New microwave treatment tested for inoperable lung cancer

NCT ID NCT07291973

Summary

This study is testing a new microwave device called FlexAblate™ to see if it can safely destroy small lung cancer nodules. It is for adults with lung cancer who are not good candidates for surgery or who choose not to have it. Doctors will insert the device through the airway to heat and destroy the tumor, and then monitor patients for a year to check results and safety.
