First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study compares two ways to destroy early-stage lung cancer tumors using heat (radiofrequency ablation) without surgery. One method goes through the chest wall, the other through the airways using a bronchoscope. Researchers will check which approach is safer and more effective at completely killing the tumor, with 110 participants being followed for up to a year.
