First seen Jan 19, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests an AI-powered conversation tool called LUMEN that helps caregivers describe a loved one's memory and thinking changes in a structured way. The tool creates clear reports for doctors, which could make dementia assessments faster and more accurate. About 60 caregivers and doctors will use LUMEN in real memory clinics and give feedback on how easy it is to use and how well it works.
