NCT ID NCT07445477

First seen Mar 05, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tested two types of injections for people with lumbar spinal stenosis (a narrowing in the lower spine that causes leg and back pain) who had not gotten better with usual treatments like physical therapy or medication. Thirty adults received either a newer nerve block (erector spinae plane block) or a standard steroid injection into the tailbone area. Researchers measured pain, walking ability, and daily function over time to see which approach worked better.
