Summary
This study looks at whether singing lullabies while bathing a newborn can improve the bond between mother and baby, reduce symptoms of postpartum depression, and boost a mother's confidence in caring for her infant. About 98 new moms with healthy, full-term babies will take part. Half will be asked to bathe their baby three times a week for two weeks while singing a lullaby, and the other half will receive standard care. The study measures bonding, mood, and parenting confidence before and after the two-week period.
